Fehu Rune Meaning (ᚠ)
Earned resources, livestock, portable value, and the responsibilities that arrive with having enough.

Historical and linguistic note
Fehu is the first rune of the Elder Futhark and gives the alphabet its opening letter. Its name is related to Proto-Germanic *fehu, 'cattle' or 'movable wealth' — in early societies, livestock was the property you could count, move and lose. The Anglo-Saxon rune poem opens with this rune and immediately warns that wealth is a comfort only if it is shared.

Fehu invites an honest inventory: what you already have, what it costs to keep, and what you would rather spend it on. It is a rune about circulation, not accumulation.
