Life Path Numbers and Work Style: A Guide to 1–9, 11, 22 and 33

Work style is shaped by experience, skills, responsibilities, personality, health, culture, opportunity and the conditions around us. A Life Path number cannot measure any of these factors, determine competence, predict income or identify the one profession a person should choose.

In numerology, however, the Life Path number is used as a symbolic theme calculated from the birth date. It may offer questions about motivation, independence, responsibility, communication, change, collaboration, practical structure, meaning and contribution. How to calculate a Life Path number

A common numerology method is to add all digits in the birth date and reduce the result to one digit. The Master Numbers 11, 22 and 33 are usually preserved rather than reduced again.

Example 1. 14 March 1990 → 1+4+0+3+1+9+9+0 = 27 → 2+7 = 9. Life Path 9.

Example 2. 29 November 1988 → 2+9+1+1+1+9+8+8 = 39 → 3+9 = 12 → 1+2 = 3. Life Path 3.
